Alexis Carrel

Basic Information

Alexis Carrel was a French surgeon, biologist, and advocate of eugenics who was awarded the Nobel Prize for his medical work. In his book L'Homme, cet inconnu (Man, The Unknown) he advocated using gas chambers to rid humanity of "inferior stock".
