Ambulance Chaser

Basic Information

The Ambulance Chaser is a type of sleazy lawyer who always seems to gravitate towards accidents and tragedies trying to convince the victims that they can get big bucks out of a lawsuit. Usually, this trope is played for laughs,(Groucho Marx got a lot of mileage out of it) but not always.

If he's more competent than he looks, he might be a Bunny Ears Lawyer.

Game and Story Use

• If the PC's like to cause a lot of collateral damage in their adventures, consider having an ambulance-chasing lawyer serve them with a subpoena.
• Or perhaps they're already in trouble with the law and the only NPC lawyer who will take their case is Rufus T. Firefly, a shifty character with a painted-on mustache and eyebrows.
