1. Wikipedia article on horse-drawn vehicles from which most of the above list is cribbed. There's a lot on that list, and I probably missed a few good ones, but some of the distinctions are just splitting hairs, and I didn't want to get too technical here.
Game and Story Use
- Provide some color and flavor to the cultures in a fantasy game by using a variety of different animal-drawn vehicles instead of the generic wagon.
- For that matter, a fantasy setting can probably get away with vehicles drawn by mythological creatures instead of boring old horses and oxen.
