Arbalestier

Basic Information

An arbalestier was a person who used an arbalest (alt. arblast) on a professional basis - making them typically a soldier and usually an infantryman therewith. A skilled arbalestier (arbalester) could loose two bolts per minute - probably dependant on what sort of device he was using to span the bow.
