• Arthropods are creepy-crawly, so they are a good match for horror genre. Dead bodies covered in insects or their larva. Giant swarm clouds of locusts devouring everything in their path. Small awful critters with a dangerous venom. Parasitic wasps who try to implant their eggs under your skin. Nasty stuff.
