Game and Story Use

  • This is classical cyberpunk megacorp behavior - subvert justice in order to protect its interests. Thus, it can serve as a template for similar deals in either cyberpunk settings or espionage campaigns. The PCs can either expedite the negotiations (if they have been hired by the corporation or the nation wishing to free its citizen) or sabotage them (likely by proving their existence to the public).
    • Or be contracted to ensure that justice is served regardless and the released terrorist doesn't live to enjoy his newfound freedom.
