British scientist uncovers 'secret messages' hidden in Plato's ancient text

• Like Coded Myth, there could be alchemy, magic, secrets of the ancient astronauts or mystery cults or who knows what else, hidden in the works of Plato.
  • In a Cthulhu game, the secrets could be related to the Cthulhu Mythos. Deciphering the code could result in a sanity loss, or unlock even worse things man was not meant to know. On the other hand, reading Plato without knowing the secret code could be the actual danger. Perhaps anyone with a classical education is vulnerable to indoctrination by cults.
  • The codes have to do with the ancient greek musical scale which had 12 notes unlike our 8-note modern scales.
    • There could thus be some connection to bardic music or magic music.
      • Perhaps the secrets of the Sirens song is hidden within this work.
      • Perhaps the Pied Piper of Hamelin was an avid reader of Plato.
