Casanova

Basic Information

Named after the celebrated 18th Century adventurer Giacomo Casanova this character is a serial womanizer. His Little Black Book is the size of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. He leaves a trail of broken hearts in his wake and is always on the lookout for his next conquest. Condemn him as a sexual predator or admire him for his lust for life (and other things); you can't deny that the ladies love him, and he loves them right back. At least for a while; until the next one comes along…

Game and Story Use

• If your campaign has romantic elements in it, the chances are good that one of your players is going to want to be a Casanova
  • If that's what he wants, then let him; but watch how he treats his women and be sure to give his appropriate consequences.
    • I didn't say punish him; I said appropriate. If he treats his girlfriends reasonably well and breaks off his relationships with no hard feelings, there's no reason to inflict divine retribution on him. But if he's a cad about it…
• An NPC who's a Casanova can be really irritating. Especially if he's The Ace. The PC's will love bringing him down!
