Basic Information

Crater of Diamonds State Park is a 911-acre state park in Arkansas which is the world's only diamond-bearing site accessible to the public. For a small fee, visitors can search for diamonds and other gemstones, and can keep any they find. More than 600 diamonds of various sizes and qualities are still found every year. In addition to diamonds, other stones and minerals that have been found here include amethyst, agate, jasper, garnet, phlogopite, quartz, baryte, and calcite.
