Basic Information

Death Valley is the lowest, driest, and hottest location in North America.

Death Valley is known for its moving rocks - rocks of varying sizes, from small stones to larger boulders, will be spotted with trails behind them. None of them are spotted moving on their own. This was believed to have been caused by magnetic forces, but more recently has been attributed to wind and ice crystals, which can form under the rocks when the temperature drops during the night, making the rocks much more mobile.

According to the eminent Fozzie Bear, it is too hot to be funny in Death Valley.

  • Whatever your PCs are doing in Death Valley, they'd better do it quick.
