Summary

April 4, 2009: In defiance of international protests, North Korea has launched a missile from its Musudan-ri launch site, which allegedly carries an "experimental communications satellite". The missile traveled to the Pacific Ocean, with its two booster stages falling into the ocean to the east and west of Japan.

• What if the missile landed in Japan - accidentally or deliberately? This might result in a war between the two countries - likely dragging in other countries with an interest in the region (such as South Korea, China, and the United States).
• The booster fragments could awaken an Eldritch Horror, such as Gojira.
• Perhaps the missile didn't carry a satellite, but an alien creature which North Korea has agreed to send back into space.
