						 <p>I've never heard of Mormo. The name sounds like a giant radioactive lizard that stomps on Salt Lake City.</p> <p>But I was in a monster stomping game once where our group was up against a Black Annis. My character was the one to kill her, which turned out to be a problem, because she was a servant of Hecate, goddess of the Moon&#8230;</p> <p>&#8230; and my character was a werewolf.</p> <p>Needless to say, hilarity ensued.</p>

						 <p>I'm using Mormo in my current Trail of Cthulhu campaign, largely because the plot demanded a connection to a moon goddess. I've never read any Kuttner, and didn't know the Hippolytus or Aristophanes references until today. If anyone knows anything else about the mythical character of Mormo they can add to the page, it might help my campaign. Thanks!</p>
