Lawrence Kansas belongs on any site for arcane information. We should add that the steam whistle on campus is being turned off after 90 years because of the $3,000 steam cost per year.

Yeah, it was me ;-) Incidentally, when you lived in Lawrence, were you ever involved in the Champions Club, KUGAR, or the open games at The Battlezone (before it changed locations and was eventually shuttered)? I lived in Topeka as mentioned earlier, but I did a lot of gaming and stuff in Lawrence :-)

As I mention elsewhere, there are no independently verifiable sources cited for this article and quite a lot of subjective (and possibly offensive) opinion herein. I actually lived in Topeka for eight years and, while I agree with some of the observations in this article, I would never offer them up as facts. I think the rule of thumb should be that if a claim can't be independently verified by consulting a credible source other than the article author's life experience, then said claim probably doesn't belong on the Arcana Wiki.
