I've encountered a particularly nasty vandal (not a spammer) on the Urbis wiki - he renamed both the start and nav pages and emptied them of all content other than a nonsense string.
And I thought he had created those new pages, and deleted my frigging start page permanently before I wised up.
This wiki now has three admins who have the power to delete pages permanently. If you come across any weird nonsense pages, check their URLs before deleting them - they could be regular, even vital wiki pages that have been mutilated.
So far, the vandal seems to have restricted himself to wikis that only allow members to edit pages, which isn't the case here. I have also notified the Wikidot.com owners of the vandal, which means that this particular user will likely be banned soon.
But he might be able to get in under a new account, so be careful.
