I am not one to pick on spelling — Crumb knows my own spelling is bad enough — but I did want to mention that the correct word is "bowdlerization", after Thomas Bowdler, the 19th Century editor who cut all the risque bits from his edition of the works of Shakespeare in order to make them suitable for women, children and other harmless creatures. "Bawlederisation" sounds like the exact opposite, making something more bawdy rather than less.

Not meaning to pick on you, Colonel. I just found it amusing.

This is the fun part of finding out about things by radio… you've heard of people but can't spell their names, or the concepts named after them.

I cut the bit about there only being two types of centaur

Prior to today, this page made the assertion that there were only two types of centaurs - normal centaurs and onocentaurs. Classical Greek art is full of ichthyocentaurs, and the myths made various subdivisions as well. Cyprian centaurs had horns. Lamian centaurs were water spirits (but were distinct from ichthyocentaurs, if I'm understanding things correctly). So I'm updating our page to match and recognize that reality.
