Ground Effect Vehicle

Basic Information

A Ground Effect Vehicle (or Wing-In-Ground-Effect Vehicle) is sort of an aircraft. It's a category of aerodyne vehicle that flies very close to the ground, held aloft by an interaction known as Ground Effect. It's more than a hovercraft, but not really an airplane, and by some definitions could be considered more akin to a ship.
