Hot Springs, Arkansas

Hot Springs, Arkansas is a city famous for its natural hot springs, which produce about a million gallons of water at temperatures of 147 °F (64 °C). As a result, it is a very successful spa town. After the American Civil War, illegal gambling became established here, which in turn attracted organized crime. Al Capone used a local hotel as one of his favorite retreats.
