Game and Story Use

  • Done right, the introduction of such a museum in the city your PCs are in can be really, really creepy.
    • It doesn't have to be penises, either - how about a museum that collects hearts, kidneys, eyes and so forth? Those can be just as creepy, though they likely won't make male player characters wince as much.
  • In a fantasy setting or urban fantasy campaign, there might actually be a mystical point to collecting penises from various species. What kind of rituals or spells might be powered by such a collection?
  • On another tangent, Iceland is also famous for its fairies. Given all the other gruesome stuff fairies have traditionally been up to, I am surprised that there isn't some small fairly that likes to cut off the penises of people and collect them - this kind of behavior seems to be right up their alley. Introduce such an entity to your campaign, and watch as your male PCs struggle to construct crotch protectors made out of cold iron…
