Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov (biologist)

Basic Information

Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov was a Russian and Soviet biologist. In the 1920s, he attempted to create human-ape hybrids, first by artificially inseminating chimpanzee females with human sperm and later by inseminating human females with chimpanzee sperm.
