Basic Information
According to Talmudic tradition, when Adam and Eve were expelled from The Garden of Eden following the Fall of Man, they were separated from one another for over a century, in which time they both had offspring by various spirits. These offspring are identified in all sorts of ways, but a common name for them is mazikeen.
Such creatures are often invisible, capable of flight and other supernatural powers and prone to being anything from a nuisance to a menace. They may or may not be the same sort of thing as fairies
Not to be confused with mazakim, or malakim. Such are the intricacies of Hebrew.
