- That he committed suicide will prevent many questions about these attacks from being answered. Perhaps he was killed to ensure his silence instead? PCs in conspiracy games might want to investigate this further.
- Alternatively, PCs may realise that a villain will never be properly brought to justice by the legal system of their country and may need to take more direct action to ensure that he is punished.
- For example, the villain may know secrets that would almost inevitably be released during a trial and which their patron cannot afford to have made public. Short-cutting the trial process is the obvious solution in this case.
