Ordnance

Basic Information

This is the category of ranged weapons that need to be served by a crew and which may be mobile¹ but cannot be portaged without extensive dismantling - if at all. This is the next category up from heavy weapons and contains such things as cannon, catapults and ballistae.

It will also contain other equivalent weapons such as Aerospace Bombs, Rockets and Guided Missiles.

Sometimes referred to as artillery, although this is not the sum total of the class.
