Summary
July 30, 2008: Two elderly sisters (who are twins), following a strange strain of Christianity, have fed enormous hordes of rats in their home in a suburb of Los Angeles, California - adding tens of thousands, and possibly hundreds of thousands of rats to the community.

Game and Story Use
- In a fantasy game, a follower of a god of pestilence could do something similar - though presumably, he'd use a more circumspect feeding place for the rats (the sewers, for example).
- Maybe the twins wanted to create the mother of all rat kings?
- If someone can get magical energy from animal sacrifice, breeding and attracting a few tens of thousands of rat like this could be a fairly efficient way of doing so. Of course, this will might alert others that something strange is going on…
