Quake in Iran kills 7, sends tremors across Gulf
Summary
September 10, 2008: An earthquake with magnitude 6.1 centered on the province of Hormozgan of Iran killed seven people and injured 40. Its effects were felt as far away as Dubai, where it shook the local skyscrapers.
