Rouketopolemos
Basic Information
Rouketopolemos is an annual event taking place on Easter in the town of Vrontados on the Greek island of Chios and involves two church congregations of churches built on different hills shooting rockets at the other church. The side who hits the other's church bell "wins", but both declare themselves winners every year and clamor for a rematch the following Easter. According to legend, this event was originally celebrated with actual cannons until the Ottomans forbade it.

Game and Story Use
- In settings with spellcasting priests, the congregations might hurl spells against the other building instead. This might also act as a demonstration of faith, for surely the side with the stronger faith will have the more powerful spells.
