• Artificial meat might replace real meat in Twenty Minutes Into The Future, Cyberpunk, or science fiction settings.
  • Perhaps real meat will be seen as strongly taboo by such societies, or even as illegal, casting those who insist on eating it out as "perverts" and worse.
    • In such a case, real meat might be available in illegal clubs similar to the situation during the Prohibition - giving the term "meat parlor" a whole new meaning.
• Sooner or later, someone will likely try to create artificial meat from human cells. The morality of creating and eating such meat will likely be highly controversial.
