Scully Syndrome
Basic Information
A character suffering from Scully Syndrome will go out of his way to deny evidence of supernatural phenomena or similarly weird events, coming up with all sorts of overly complicated explanations even when the existence of the supernatural would be the far simpler explanation. This is standard for the Agent Scully.

Game and Story Use
- As long as this character is not the main investigator of the party, a PC with such behavior can be a fun addition to any group.
- As an NPC, such a character can be a good way of setting up red herrings - the overly long explanation will likely be disbelieved by the player characters, even when it turns out that it is actually true!
