Singing Cowboy
Basic Information
The Singing Cowboy is a Characterization Trope. He's the cowboy who sings as his primary avocation. While it's true that some musical talent was always appreciated on the range, the singing cowboy was really a product of Hollywood. Shows up in Westerns, especially those of a simpler age.

Game and Story Use
- Another way to distinguish one cowboy amidst the crowd, and thus provide a little color to a character who might not otherwise be remarkable.
- Some care should be taken, however, as the singing cowboy may have some cheesy connotations for some players. In a gritty and serious campaign, it may actually be best to avoid this trope.
