Basic Information

Sweden, officially the Kingdom of Sweden, is a constitutional monarchy in northern Europe, located on the eastern side of the Scandinavian peninsula. It borderrs Norway in the west and Finland in the northeast. It is also connected to Denmark by the Oresund Bridge.

Game and Story Use

• Sweden and other Nordic regions are perfect for Viking-era campaigns. It was one of the last Nordic countries to covert to Christianity. Because Christian countries refused to trade with either heathens or infidels (i.e Vikings and Muslims), its likely that the Vikings began to raid their towns and churches in response.
• Sweden was officially neutral during World War I and World War II. But Sweden indirectly helped Finland during the Winter War, providing them with arms and aircrafts to fight the Soviet Union.
