Twenty Minuted Into The Future describes a setting that takes place in the near-term future, usually not much later than the middle of the 21st century.
Such a setting is usually a dystopia.

- This is a great way of building a setting that is very recognizable to the players, while still having all sorts of weird and novel effects.
- Feel free to use Applied Phlebotinum liberally.
- This is also a good setting for satire, extrapolating and exaggerating current trends for comedic purposes. Examples from the media include the Robocop movies and the TV series Max Headroom (which is the source of the Trope name)
