- While dabbling in witchcraft is commonly associated with attempts to become wealthy or find love, there is no reason why it shouldn't be used for something as "mundane" as a sports event. In fantasy settings with organized spectator sports, the use of magic during events might be a concern paralleling the use of performance-enhancing drugs in our world.
